Intelligent automation based on flexible and user-friendly overall concepts
HBi Robotics stands for customer-specific automation. As a high-performance technology provider, we focus on loading and unloading processes for tool machines and on flexible feeding technology.
Among the solutions we provide for intelligent automation are the separation of bulk parts, position detection by camera and, based on position detection, picking of the parts by the robot. Further important aspects are bin picking or picking from the box, and 3D systems for position recognition.
Even more additional tasks emerge from the application areas mentioned above, such as part measurement in the handling process, measured value transfer to the CNC controller, parts cleaning and labelling, respectively the entire quality management process of the workpieces. We apply our in-house standard measuring systems and we are able to flexibly integrate individual, customer-specific measuring systems. In case of recurrent errors, the measured value transfer can trigger an automatic adaption of the processing to fix faults in an intelligent way. The integration of quality management into the manufacturing process offers the advantage of quickly realising and solving problems: the closer manufacturing and quality management are combined, the better. When it comes to labelling and marking the parts, we make use of laser marking systems, needle printing and inkjet systems.
The predecessor firm of HBi Robotics was founded in 2000 by Dipl.-Ing. Harald Bader. One of the first developments was the 3D simulation software multiSIM, which lay the foundation for the growth of the robot area. The demand for robots and automation solutions has been steadily increasing. Today, HBi Robotics GmbH employs a team of 43 employees working on intelligent automation for various fields of application in Gosheim in the district of Tuttlingen, Baden-Württemberg.
All the ideas developed and implemented within the past years have become part of HBi Robotics’ flexible automation solutions frz, pts and ftp.
